Pick Cloodot if the job is answering and resolving conversations: an AI agent that reads your Knowledge Base, calls your systems through Skill Sets, hands off to a person with a priority rating, and behaves the same way on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and webchat. Both are official WhatsApp Business API providers, both let you keep your number, and both keep Meta's message fees separate from the subscription.

  • The AI agent comes with every plan instead of being an add-on. You give it a persona, written instructions, scenario-by-scenario Procedures and a Knowledge Base built from files or a crawl of up to 200 web pages.
  • Skill Sets let the agent act as well as answer: look up an order, book a slot, call an outside API. Workflows add triggers, decisions, delays and a Simple API Request step around it.
  • Handover is graded. When the agent steps aside it rates urgency from No priority to Urgent, so the person picking up the chat knows which conversation to open first.
  • One inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, email and webchat, with the same agent and the same contact record behind all of them.
  • Meta's WhatsApp charges go to the payment method on your Meta Business account, so there is no prepaid wallet to top up before a campaign can send.

  • A lower, flatter entry price. Its US pricing page lists Growth at $55 and Advanced at $69 a month plus taxes, with unlimited agents, and a $12 Starter that covers Instagram only. With many agents and modest volume, that is hard to beat.
  • Instagram tools built for sellers: Price Please and giveaway automations, comment and DM auto-replies, and Instagram conversations listed as free.
  • A fuller commerce stack. Catalogs, a checkout bot, an order management panel and WhatsApp Pay appear in its plan table, and Shopify stores get abandoned-checkout reminders, winback messages and a COD-to-prepaid flow (the Shopify features sit on a separate Shopify plan).
  • Click-to-WhatsApp tooling: it lists an ads launcher and passing conversion data back to Meta. Cloodot's Ad Insights reports on chats that came from ads; it does not build the ads.
  • Track record. Interakt is operated by Jio Haptik and says it serves 50,000+ businesses (its own figure). Cloodot is newer and does not publish a comparable number.

How the subscription is priced

Tiered by incoming-message volume, with the inbox, AI agent and every channel in each tier. Each plan also caps active members, workflows and campaign messages. Current figures: cloodot.com/pricing.

Per plan per month: Starter $12 (Instagram only), Growth $55, Advanced $69, plus taxes, with monthly, quarterly (8% off) and yearly (20% off) toggles. Interakt's FAQ says plans are billed in INR, so check the page for your region.

Who pays Meta's message fees

Meta bills them to the payment method on your Meta Business account. Cloodot's plan lists campaign-message allowances separately.

Deducted from a prepaid wallet on Interakt. Its FAQ says charges are passed on at actuals, while the pricing page lists "No Templates Markups" only under Enterprise, so ask for the rate card.

Shopify

Syncs customers, products, orders and collections; the custom-app method adds order, checkout, refund and shipment events as Workflow triggers.

Order updates, abandoned-checkout reminders, winback messages, COD-to-prepaid flow and contact and catalog sync, on its Shopify plan.

Moving an existing number

Self-serve through Meta's Embedded Signup. Two-step verification must be off first. Coexistence Mode keeps the number on the WhatsApp Business app too, once it has been active there for 7 days.

A number on another provider's API can move after that provider turns off two-step verification. A number on the WhatsApp Business app must have that account deleted first.

Questions teams ask

Can I move my WhatsApp number from Interakt to Cloodot without downtime?

Yes, in most cases. Meta's partner-to-partner migration keeps the number live while it changes provider. First get two-step verification turned off: if Interakt created the WhatsApp Business Account, ask its support to do it. Then connect in Cloodot through Settings, Organization, Channels, and verify by SMS or voice code. Set a new PIN afterwards. Do not delete the number at Interakt beforehand.

Will my approved templates need re-approval?

Approved high-quality templates are copied across and can be sent without review. Templates that are paused, low quality or still pending may not come over, so recreate those in Cloodot and let Meta review them again, usually within minutes to a day. Your display name, quality rating and messaging tier are kept. Chat history is not part of what Meta moves, so export contacts and any conversations you need from Interakt before you switch.

Is Interakt cheaper than Cloodot?

At small volume with many agents, probably. Interakt's Growth plan is listed at $55 a month with unlimited agents, and the AI agent costs extra. Cloodot prices on how many customer messages the agent answers each month and caps active members per plan. Put your real monthly message count and headcount into both pricing pages. Meta's per-message fees are the same either way, apart from any markup, so leave them out of the comparison.

Does Cloodot have a chatbot builder like Interakt's flow builder?

Not in the keyword-and-menu sense. Cloodot automates with Workflows that start on events, such as a new conversation, a submitted WhatsApp Flow or an abandoned cart, and with the AI agent, which follows your Procedures and calls Skill Sets. If your support is mostly fixed menus and buttons, Interakt's builder is the closer match. If customers type free-form questions, the agent is.

We sell on Instagram. Which one should we pick?

If your Instagram work is comment-to-DM promotions, price queries and giveaways, Interakt has purpose-built automations and lists Instagram conversations as free. If it is full conversations, such as sizing questions, order issues and handoffs, Cloodot's agent answers them alongside WhatsApp in one inbox. Some teams need both jobs; test each with a week of real DMs before deciding.
