Cloodot vs AiSensy: low-cost broadcasts or an AI support desk?

Cloodot vs AiSensy is less a feature race than a question of the job you are hiring for. AiSensy is built around inexpensive WhatsApp broadcasts, ad-driven leads and add-on chatbots, with rupee prices and unlimited users; Cloodot is built around an AI agent and shared inbox that handle conversations across channels. AiSensy facts here come from its own pages, checked 29 October 2026.

If most of your WhatsApp volume is outbound (offers, reminders, order updates) and you want the lowest published starting cost, AiSensy is a strong fit: it advertises unlimited users, a Free Forever plan and message rates in rupees. If most of your volume is customers writing in, and you want an AI agent that answers, books and escalates across WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels from one inbox, Cloodot is built for that. Many teams run both jobs, so compare the add-ons AiSensy charges for chatbots and AI against Cloodot's all-in tiers.

Where each product tends to fit

Cloodot

5 strengths
  • Inbound first. The AI agent, Copilot, shared inbox and a contact pipeline that moves leads between stages are included in every plan, and the agent answers on every connected channel.
  • More than WhatsApp: Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, email and webchat land in the same inbox as WhatsApp, with one customer record behind them.
  • Skill Sets and Workflows connect the agent to your systems. Workflows start on events such as a new conversation, a label, a stage change, an abandoned cart or a shipment update.
  • Campaigns cover the outbound basics: approved templates to a segment or a CSV of up to 50,000 contacts, scheduling, and sent, delivered, read, clicked and failed counts.
  • Meta bills WhatsApp message fees to your Meta payment method, so there is no prepaid credit balance on Cloodot to run dry.

AiSensy

5 strengths
  • The cheapest published way in. Its plan is billed as Unlimited Users with no per-user charge (fair use: up to 200 agents), the page references a Free Forever plan, and new accounts get ₹50 of conversation credits.
  • Prices are in rupees and spelled out: marketing ₹1.09, utility and authentication ₹0.145 per message, and 1,000 free service messages per number each month, as listed for Indian users from 1 October 2026.
  • Broadcast and ads depth: broadcasting with click tracking, an Ads Manager for click-to-WhatsApp ads, a template library and an AI template generator. Cloodot reports on ad-sourced chats but does not run ads.
  • Payments and checkout inside the chat: WhatsApp Payments via UPI and card, native Forms, Webviews, Razorpay, and Shopify Checkouts including Magic Checkout.
  • Modular AI. An AI Agent builder at ₹1,350 a month (₹1,215 billed yearly) with 1,000 AI messages, tool calling, skills, long-term user memory and human handoff, so you pay for AI only if you want it.

Questions teams ask

Is AiSensy cheaper than Cloodot?

For broadcast-heavy use with many agents, often yes: AiSensy advertises unlimited users and rupee message rates. Add its extras before comparing. A chatbot builder is ₹2,500 a month, the AI agent is ₹1,350 a month, and AI replies still count as service messages once you pass 1,000 free a month. In Cloodot the agent is included and the meter is incoming messages. Price your own month on both.

How do WhatsApp message charges work on each?

Meta sets the rates and bills per delivered template message. AiSensy's page lists ₹1.09 for marketing and ₹0.145 for utility and authentication for Indian users, with service messages chargeable after 1,000 free a month from 1 October 2026, and takes the money from prepaid credits. On Cloodot, Meta bills your Meta payment method directly, so ask any provider whether it adds a markup.

How do I move my number from AiSensy to Cloodot?

Turn off two-step verification (AiSensy support can do it if they own the WhatsApp Business Account), then connect the number in Cloodot under Settings, Organization, Channels and confirm with an SMS or voice code. Meta keeps the number sending during the move. Export contacts and chats beforehand: AiSensy's own guide says chat history and message insights do not migrate between providers.

Can Cloodot run broadcasts as well as AiSensy?

For the core job, yes: pick an approved template, choose a segment or upload up to 50,000 numbers, map variables, schedule and track delivery, reads and clicks. AiSensy goes further on tooling around it, with an Ads Manager, a template library and an AI template generator. If you send high volumes of promotional templates and little else, test that workflow in both trials.

Do I need an Indian virtual number?

Only if you have no number to spare. AiSensy sells one at ₹2,000 plus GST a year and needs GST or MSME registration for KYC. Cloodot connects a number you already own through Meta's sign-up flow and does not document a virtual-number product, so bring one that can receive an SMS or voice code, and keep it off personal WhatsApp unless you use Coexistence Mode.
